Edward P. De Lise, CPP, founder of Board Certified Consulting & Investigations is a partner and Senior Vice President, W.T. Hill & Associates. He maintains an extensive portfolio in high level case management in investigations of internal theft, pilferage, sabotage and narcotics.
Mr. De Lise has provided consulting services to private and Fortune 100 corporations in every major industry and has personally conducted hundreds of sensitive C-Suite and Corporate Counsel requested investigations. He has served in executive positions with the industry's largest and most reputable national and international security, consulting and investigations firms including Investigations Corporation of America (Vice President)OutSource Consultants (President), Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations (Vice President) and most recently as Vice President, Wackenhut Consulting & Investigations.
Mr. De Lise holds an Associates in Applied Science degree from S.U.N.Y at Dutchess and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Marist College, New York. He has served as an adjunct professor in Criminal Justice Studies and has instructed a multitude of security consulting & investigations management courses.
Having been a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) for over 22 years, he has been an active member of the American Society of Industrial Security International (ASIS) for 29 years. Currently recently served as the senior member of the Professional Certification Board (PCB) of ASIS and chaired the original task force for the Certification for the Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) designation for ASIS International. He sat on the Board of Professional Review of the PCB as well as the Chairman of the 2009 Strategic Planning Committee and remains an active consultant to the Board. Currently assisting in the development of the Protection of Assets Manual (POA), the primary source for all certification (CPP, PSP & PCI) testing in the industry, he is authoring source material chapters for aspiring investigators seeking certification. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the local ASIS International Chapter.
During his extensive career, Mr. De Lise has been a member of the United States Association of Professional Investigators, an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a member of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants, the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association, the National Association of Investigative Specialists , Department of State Overseas Security Advisory Council the American Correctional Association. He has served on scores of national level committees, state associations, focus groups and industry related advisory boards, chairing many. He is certified under the Homeland Security Comprehensive Assessment Model (HLS-CAM) and the Department of Homeland Security Office of Infrastructure Protection as a authorized user of Chemical-terrorism Vulnerability Information.
Mr. De Lise is a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the 1st Marine Division, United States Marine Corps and a former Detective, City of Beacon, New York Police Department.
